Offer description

As part of our modernization projects, we develop tools that automate migration from legacy technology to JasperReports and we create and we optimize reports in JasperReports. If you have experience in creating JasperReports reports, like delving into the details of technology, experimenting and deepening technical knowledge, we will be happy to invite you to further conversations.

MUST HAVE:

1 year of experience with JasperReports
1 year of experience using Oracle and/or PostgreSQL database
Knowledge of XML and tools for its processing
Knowledge of Polish language
English language proficiency

NICE TO HAVE:

Oracle Reports,
Other reporting technologies
Ability to program in PL/SQL and/or PL/pgSQL
Java knowledge
Knowledge of JavaScript or scripting languages (e.g. Python)

What you will do:

Creating new reports according to specifications.
Development and modifications of existing reports.
Verifying correctness, optimizing performance and correcting errors in existing reports.
Support in the development of tools for migrating legacy reports to JasperReports (problem analysis, proposed solution schemes, implementation support).
Conducting training on creating reports based on JasperReports
Cooperation with a team of programmers, analysts and database administrators to ensure effective operation and optimization of reports.
Testing and debugging reports to ensure they work properly.
Working with clients to understand their needs and adapting reports to their requirements.
Adjusting reports to work with various databases (especially Oracle and PostgreSQL).

Ideal candidate:

Has at least one year of experience working with JasperReports.
Has at least one year of experience in working with relational databases - preferred Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
Able to communicate effectively and cooperate with a team.
Is independent and accurate.
Eagerly increases competences with new technologies and deepens knowledge about the operation of tools and technologies with which she works.
Eager to develop his skills and share knowledge with other team members.
Communicates freely in Polish and English.
